    Tell Us What You're Dreaming Of

    It starts with a simple, no-pressure conversation. Contact us and share your questions, goals, timeline, and concerns with our team. We can help with financing questions, land uncertainty, floorplan recommendations, and more.

    From there, we’ll connect you with one of our new home consultants who will explain how the process works based on your starting point—whether you own land, need land, or are unsure where to start. 

    You don’t have to know every answer. That’s why we’re here.

    Find the Perfect Place to Build

    Have land? Great! We'll tour it with you and evaluate its build potential.

    No land yet? No problem. We’ll show you any lots we may have available and help you shop, compare, and understand lot pricing, location differences, and what makes a property a good investment long-term.

    In either case, our team will:

    • Evaluate your homesite for utilities, zoning, setbacks, and permitting
    • Recommend floorplans that work for your lot's size, shape, and topography
    • Provide guidance so you can compare areas, pricing, and long-term value

    We’ll make sure the land you choose and the home you love come together seamlessly.

    Finalize Your Dream Floorplan

    Once you know where you’re building, we’ll help you finalize the home that fits both your lifestyle and your homesite perfectly. You’ll meet with your New Home Consultant at one of our design centers or model homes to review layouts in detail, explore the spaces that matter most to you, and talk through smart options that enhance the way you live. Our floorplans have been thoughtfully tested and refined over time, and offer plenty of flexibility through predetermined structural options to make your home uniquely yours.

    Want to turn a flex room into an additional bedroom? No problem.
    Dreaming of a gourmet kitchen layout? We've got you.
    Can't live without a soaking tub in your primary bathroom? It's yours.

    We’ll confirm how the plan sits on your land, walk you through pricing with clarity, and refine any final structural details so you feel completely confident in the home you’ve chosen.

      Lock In Your Home With Earnest Deposit & Secure Financing

      Now that you’ve selected the right homesite and the perfect floorplan, it’s time to reserve your home with an earnest money deposit and secure financing that supports your goals. Our in-house lender, HQ Mortgage, specializes in new-construction loans and already understands our process, timelines, and requirements—which means staying on schedule and smoother communication from start to finish.

      Whether you're still living in your current home or planning a future move, HQ Mortgage will guide you through:

      • Buying while still owning, so you're never rushed to sell
      • Smart payment timing throughout construction
      • Clear loan structure and costs based on your home plan
      Prefer to use your own lender? That’s completely fine—we’ll work closely with them to keep the process on track.

        The Fun Part: Design Your Home With Confidence

        With your homesite, floorplan, and financing path in place, it’s time to bring your home’s interior to life. You’ll meet with a Design Consultant at one of our design centers to select finishes, colors, and materials that fit your style, lifestyle, and budget.

        Whether you know exactly what you want or have no idea where to start, our Design Consultant will guide you through cohesive options that look great together and live well day-to-day. They'll help you prioritize what matters most, balance style with practicality, and keep your selections aligned with your overall investment.

        Love a light, airy look? Prefer something warm and classic? Want durable finishes for pets or kids? We’ll help you create a home that feels like you from the moment you walk in.

          Finalize Pricing and Seal the Deal

          Once your structural options and design selections are complete, we’ll finalize the full pricing for your home so you know exactly what’s included—no guesswork, no hidden add-ons later. You’ll review a clear, detailed agreement that reflects your chosen floorplan, options, and finishes.

          After you sign and your lender confirms everything on their end, your home officially moves into our construction schedule. From here, we shift from planning to building—and you’re one big step closer to move-in day!

            Meet Your Project Manager and Review Project Schedule

            Before construction begins, you’ll have a pre-construction meeting and be introduced to your Project Manager—the person overseeing your home on site from groundbreaking to final walk-through. They’ll review the construction timeline with you, explain key milestones, and set expectations.

            You’ll also get access to our handy homeowner app where you'll receive weekly project updates (with pictures!). We keep things as simple as possible so you always know who to contact and what’s coming next.

              Watch Your Home Take Shape

              Before Construction: Our team handles all the work behind the scenes to get your home ready for construction—from permitting and approvals to coordinating surveys, engineering, utility connections, and site preparation requirements specific to your homesite. We make sure everything is properly documented, scheduled, and approved to avoid delays or surprises once we begin. As always, we'll keep you informed so you always know where things stand and what's coming next.

              Once those steps are complete and your build is officially scheduled, we’ll break ground, and the excitement really begins!

              During Construction: We’ll keep you informed and involved every step of the way. Using our homeowner app, your New Home Consultant will send weekly updates with photos and progress notes so you can watch your home come to life, even if you’re not nearby.

              You’ll also be invited onsite for important milestones like pre-drywall and final finishes, so you can see your home in person as it progresses.

              From foundation to framing to finishing touches, you’ll always know exactly what’s happening on site, right from your phone.

                New Home Orientation and Final Touches

                As your home nears completion, we’ll schedule a New Home Orientation a couple of weeks before move-in. During this visit, we’ll walk through the home together, show you how your systems and features work, introduce our new home warranty process, and answer any questions.

                We’ll also note any final touch-ups that need to be completed before closing, ensuring everything looks and functions the way it should. This step is all about peace of mind and making sure you feel fully prepared for move-in.

                  Final Walk-Through and Welcome Home

                  Right before closing, we’ll meet for a final walk-through to confirm that all agreed-upon items and touch-ups are complete and that your home meets our quality standards—and yours. Once everything checks out, it’s time for the best part: we hand you the keys.

                  From there, our warranty team is available to support you as you get settled. Your home is new, but you’re never on your own. Welcome home. 🏡✨
