Your Home Building Journey: Step by Step
Start the Conversation with Ella
The journey begins with a simple conversation. Reach out to Ella, our online sales consultant, who is ready to address any questions about the process and assist you in finding the perfect plan for your dream home.
Explore in Person with a New Home Consultant
Ella will schedule a meeting with one of our new home consultants. Take this opportunity to tour our model home located in Lincolnville, and gain insight into our selections, layouts, and possibilities for your home.
Choose Your Ideal Home Plan
During your meeting with our new home consultant, make the exciting decision to choose your perfect home plan. Share any structural options you may want to provide as a basis for pricing out your home.
Secure Financing and Reserve Your Home
Using the rough pricing, secure preapproval with your lender. Most buyers secure a construction loan, paid in draws during the construction process. Reserve your home with an earnest money deposit.
Design Your Space with Madison
With your earnest money deposit secured, the creative process begins. Meet with Madison, our design consultant, to curate your interior selections—from floors and cabinets to countertops—personalizing your space. If you need design inspiration along the way, Madison can help with that!
Finalize Pricing and Seal the Deal
Your selections guide the final pricing for your home. Once confirmed, we send you and your lender the agreement, officially placing your home under contract.
Meet Your Project Manager
As a contracted homeowner, you’ll meet with your project manager, who provides a comprehensive overview of what to expect during the construction process.
Construction Begins
Throughout construction, stay informed and engaged through our convenient app on your phone. Your project manager will send you weekly updates, including photos, so you'll be involved every step of the way!
Prepare for Move-In with Homeowner Orientation
Two weeks before move-in, embark on a new homeowner orientation. Walk through your home, identifying any tweaks or adjustments you'd like before the final move.
Final Review
A day or so before move-in, we conduct a final review, ensuring all requested updates have been incorporated, and your home is ready for its next chapter.
